Electrical Insulation Conference

I attended the IEEE Electrical Insulation Conference and co-authored a paper with Erling Ildstad of NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. Erling is a noted expert on HVDC cables, and he presented the paper. This was something of of a departure for me, but clearly Erling has more credibility in the  electrical insulation community than I do (as of now), so him co-authoring and presenting this paper helped me gain credibility.

One thing I judge conferences on is whether I meet new people, and this conference was good for that. I also found it very gratifying that a goodly fraction of the people I met had heard about elpipes.
