Chinese Journal of High Voltage Engineering Article

This publication "Elpipes for the High capacity Backbone of an Asian Grid" in the Chinese Journal of High Voltage Engineering is my finest description yet of the elpipe technology. It will be published in a special English language version of the Journal next month, based on invited papers from the October 2010 Conference on High Voltage Engineering (ICHVE 2010), where I had submitted this somewhat less detailed article. I consider the ICHVE 2010 paper to be my first scientific paper on elpipes, because I wrote it first, while holed up in my sister Cheryl's "mother-in-law apartment" in Oregon. All the writing is mine, and some of the figures came from my co-author Ron Todd. Ron had a larger role in this IEEE conference paper, which I actually presented before the ICHVE paper, though it was written second.

I have so far found that US-based venture capital investors will not take an interest in the elpipe because it is "too big, too long term." I have therefore put my startup Electric Pipeline Corporation onto Wefunderhttps://wefunder.com/elpipes
in hopes that I can get started on this important (and expensive) development soon. It would help me move this forward if you will "follow" me on Wefunder; I expect the US Securities and Exchange Commission will be issuing rules by May that will allow me to raise funds though Wefunder (this is not legal yet, but by following EPC, you will help move me to the front of the queue when the final rules are announced).
