This was one of the best events I have attended in terms of the quality of attendees. I met Andre Boulanger, President of HydroQuebec TransEnergie, and Aftab H. Khan, VP & General Manager for ABB USA, for example. I was pleased that there was zero overlap with other conferences I have attended before. The only person there who I had spoken to on the phone previously was Jimmy Glotfelty, of Clean Line Energy Partners.
There were many fine panel discussions; the two that stick out for me most were the state PSC commissioners, and the Transmission Developer's panel. I'll do separate posts on those panels as time permits.
